Cosmic Radiance: Origin of Fire
When I painted this Cosmic Radiance: Origin of Fire, I wasn’t just creating an image—I was channeling a moment of pure energetic clarity. The golden vortex at the center came through like a heartbeat from the universe, a radiant pulse that wanted to be seen. I felt it in my chest as I layered the yellows and whites, swirling them outward into the reds and cosmic haze. It was as if the canvas itself was breathing with me.
This painting is deeply personal. It’s a reflection of how I experience energy—how transformation feels when it moves through the body and spirit. The swirling patterns are not just brushstrokes; they’re echoes of cycles, spirals of becoming. I wanted the viewer to feel that motion, that invitation to step into the unknown and trust the light at the center.
The stars scattered across the background remind me of how vast and held we are. Even in the chaos, there’s always a witness. There’s always a presence. That’s why I included the soft cloud-like forms—they’re guardians, gentle reminders that we’re never alone in our evolution.
When I signed “OAT” in the corner, it wasn’t just a mark of authorship—it was a seal of intention. This is healing art. It’s meant to awaken, to soothe, to stir something ancient and true inside the viewer. I paint from a place of deep listening, and this piece felt like a conversation with the cosmos.
The Essence of the Painting: A Celestial Bloom and Portal of Light
- The golden center is my inner light—my truth, my creative spark, my soul’s voice.
- The swirling motion is the journey—messy, beautiful, nonlinear, always returning.
- The red space around it is the mystery—the unknown that holds us, challenges us, and teaches us.
- The stars are the witnesses—the ancestors, the guides, the quiet affirmations.
- The whole painting is a portal—a place to remember who we are beneath the noise.
Why I Paint
I paint to heal. I paint to remember. I paint to offer something real in a world that often forgets how sacred we are. This piece is one of those offerings. It’s a declaration that I am here, that I see, and that I trust the light within me (and us all) to guide the way.
Thank you for witnessing it. Thank you for feeling it. May it remind you of your own radiance, your own spiral of becoming, and the beauty of being fully alive.
